How did the Doctor first meet his companion, Rose Tyler?
Rose Tyler is a fictional character in the British science fiction television series Doctor Who. She is played by Billie Piper. The character first appeared in the series premiere in 2005, titled 'Rose'.
The Doctor first meets Rose Tyler when he is investigating an alien invasion of Earth. Rose, who works in a department store, discovers one of the aliens in the basement of the store. The Doctor saves Rose from the aliens, and Rose helps the Doctor defeat the aliens and save the world.
After their adventure, the Doctor offers to take Rose with him in the TARDIS, the Doctor's time and space traveling spacecraft. Rose agrees, and they begin traveling together, having many adventures and facing dangerous enemies throughout time and space.
