How do I change the font size on my Mac?

To change the font size on a Mac, follow these steps:

  1. Click on the Apple menu in the upper-left corner of your screen.
  2. Select System Preferences.
  3. Click on Displays.
  4. Select the Display tab.
  5. Use the Resolution dropdown menu to select a lower resolution.
  6. Your text will become larger as you decrease the resolution.
  7. If you prefer, you can also click the Scaled button and choose a larger text size from the list of available options.

There are a few ways to change the font size on your Mac.

1. Change the system-wide font size

  1. Open System Preferences.
  2. Click on Displays.
  3. Click on the Scaled button.
  4. Select a larger font size from the list.

2. Change the font size in a specific app

  1. Open the app that you want to change the font size in.
  2. Choose View > Show View Options.
  3. Click on the Text size pop-up menu and select a font size.

3. Use the Zoom feature

  1. Press Command-plus (⌘+).
  2. To zoom out, press Command-minus (⌘-).
  3. To reset the zoom, press Command-0 (⌘0).

Note: Changing the display resolution will affect the size of everything on your screen, not just the font size.
