Night Shift is a feature on Macs that automatically adjusts the color temperature of your display to reduce the amount of blue light emitted by your screen, which can cause eye strain and disrupt your sleep cycle. Here's how to enable it:

  1. Click on the Apple menu in the upper-left corner of your screen.
  2. Select 'System Preferences' from the drop-down menu.
  3. Click on 'Displays.'
  4. Click on the 'Night Shift' tab.
  5. Adjust the 'Schedule' settings to determine when Night Shift should turn on and off automatically.
  6. Adjust the 'Color Temperature' slider to set the intensity of the effect.

Once you've adjusted your settings, Night Shift will automatically adjust the color temperature of your display based on your schedule. You can also turn Night Shift on or off manually by clicking on the 'Night Shift' button in the Control Center, which you can access by clicking on the Control Center icon in the upper-right corner of your screen.
