How do I set up my HomePod to work with my Apple TV?
To set up your HomePod with your Apple TV, follow these steps:
- Make sure that your HomePod and Apple TV are both connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
- On your Apple TV, go to Settings > Video and Audio.
- Select Audio Output.
- Choose your HomePod from the list of available devices.
- Once you select your HomePod, it will be set as the default audio output for your Apple TV.
With this setup, you can now use Siri to control playback on your Apple TV through your HomePod. You can also ask Siri to play specific content or playlists.
Note that your HomePod can only be used as a speaker for your Apple TV, and cannot be used to control your Apple TV directly.
If you have multiple HomePods in your home, you can also use them as a stereo pair for your Apple TV to enhance the audio quality of your home entertainment system.
