Europe spans across three primary time zones, namely Western European Time (WET), Central European Time (CET), and Eastern European Time (EET).

WET is the time zone that is primarily used in Portugal and the UK. CET is the time zone that is used in most of Western and Central Europe, and it is one hour ahead of WET. EET, which is two hours ahead of WET, is used in Eastern Europe, including countries such as Bulgaria, Greece, Romania, and Ukraine.

There are also a few countries that use time zones that are not covered by the three primary time zones. For example, Iceland uses Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) all year round, while Belarus uses Moscow Time (MSK), which is three hours ahead of WET.
