How to merge cells in Google Sheets?
Merging cells in Google Sheets allows you to combine multiple cells into one, making it easier to create a clean and organized spreadsheet. Here's how to do it:
- Select the cells that you want to merge.
- Click on the 'Merge cells' button, which is located in the toolbar at the top of the page. It looks like a square that has four smaller squares inside of it.
- The selected cells will now be merged into one.
Keep in mind that merging cells can cause some data to be lost or distorted, so it's important to use this feature with caution. In general, it's best to only merge cells that contain similar types of data.
