The CONCAT function in Google Sheets allows you to combine two or more strings of text into a single cell. This can be useful when you want to join two or more pieces of information, such as a first name and last name, or a city and state.

To use the CONCAT function:

  1. Select the cell where you want the combined text to appear.
  2. Type =CONCAT( into the cell.
  3. Select the cell that contains the first piece of text that you want to combine.
  4. Type a comma (,) and then select the cell that contains the second piece of text that you want to combine.
  5. Repeat step 4 for each additional piece of text that you want to combine.
  6. Type a closing parenthesis ()) and press Enter.

The result will be the combined text from the selected cells.
