The gas giants in our solar system include Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. These planets are similar in that they are all composed mainly of hydrogen and helium, and have no solid surface. Saturn is similar to the other gas giants in its composition, having a similar atmosphere to Jupiter. It also has rings, although its rings are much more extensive and visible than the other gas giants. Like Jupiter, it also has many moons, with more than 80 known moons and likely many more still undiscovered.

Another similarity between the gas giants is that they all have strong magnetic fields, which are generated by their rotating cores of liquid metallic hydrogen. These magnetic fields trap charged particles and create intense radiation belts around each planet.
