What is the Kahurangi National Park and why is it significant?

Kahurangi National Park is one of the largest national parks in New Zealand and is located on the northwestern side of the South Island. The park spans over 452,002 hectares of land and includes the Kahurangi ranges which are known for their dramatic landscapes, limestone cliffs, and karst landforms.
