The Sahara stretches across several countries including Algeria, Chad, Egypt, Libya, Mali, Mauritania, Morocco, Niger, Western Sahara, Sudan, and Tunisia.
The Sahara is known for its extremely hot and arid climate, with temperatures often exceeding 120°F (49°C) during the day and dropping to below freezing at night. It is also home to a number of unique and diverse plant and animal species that have adapted to survive in the harsh desert environment.
