How do I set up my HomePod to work with Apple Music?
To set up your HomePod for use with Apple Music, follow these simple steps:
- Make sure your HomePod is connected to Wi-Fi and plugged in.
- On your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch, go to the Home app and navigate to the Home tab.
- Tap the Add (+) icon in the top right corner of the screen.
- Select 'Add Accessory'.
- Scan your HomePod or enter the Setup code found on the bottom of the HomePod.
- Select 'Set Up' when prompted.
- Choose the room where your HomePod is located.
- Set up Siri on your HomePod by following the on-screen instructions.
- Select 'Use Personal Requests' if you'd like to allow Siri to access your messages and other personal data.
- Agree to the terms and conditions, and wait for your HomePod to finish setting up.
Once set up is complete, you'll be asked if you'd like to connect your HomePod to your Apple Music account. Select 'Yes' and follow the instructions to sign in with your Apple ID. From there, you'll be able to use Siri to play any song, album or playlist in the Apple Music library.
