To take a screenshot on a Mac, you can use keyboard shortcuts:

  • Command + Shift + 3: takes a screenshot of the entire screen and saves it to the desktop.
  • Command + Shift + 4: turns the cursor into a crosshair, allowing you to select the area of the screen you want to capture. After selecting the area, the screenshot will be saved to the desktop.
