How do I use the Handoff feature between my iPad and iPhone?
Handoff is a feature in iOS that allows you to start a task on one Apple device and finish it on another device. The feature works seamlessly between your iPad and iPhone, allowing you to switch between devices while working on the same document, email, or website.
Here are the steps to use Handoff between your iPad and iPhone:
- Ensure that both devices are connected to the same Wi-Fi network and Bluetooth is turned on for both devices.
- Open the app you want to use on your iPhone and start working on a document, email, or website.
- On your iPad, swipe up from the bottom of the screen to bring up the Dock. The Dock displays your most recently used apps. You should see the app you're working on your iPhone in the Dock. Tap on the app icon to open it.
- Your iPad will now display the same document, email, or website that you were working on your iPhone. You can now continue working on the same task using your iPad.
- If you want to switch back to your iPhone, swipe up from the bottom of the screen on your iPad to bring up the Dock again. You should see the Handoff icon at the bottom of the Dock. Tap on the Handoff icon to switch back to your iPhone.
That's it! You can now seamlessly use Handoff between your iPad and iPhone.
