Mount Erciyes, also known as Argaeus, is a large stratovolcano located in Kayseri Province, Turkey. The peak of the mountain is at an elevation of 3,917 meters (12,848 feet) and it is part of the volcanic system of the Central Anatolian Volcanic Province.

Currently, Mount Erciyes is open to visitors for trekking, hiking and other outdoor activities. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, visitors are required to follow strict safety measures and regulations such as wearing a face mask and maintaining social distancing while hiking or climbing the mountain.
