Friends, the popular TV show of the 90s, was known for many things--its witty humor, tight-knit friendships, and, unfortunately, some cringe-worthy hairstyles. The show's characters have donned some iconic looks over the years, but some stood out for all the wrong reasons.

One of the worst hairstyles, without a doubt, was 'The Rachel.' Jennifer Aniston's character Rachel Green's hair, which was styled in a layered, shaggy cut, was widely copied and adored but was also the infamous worst hairstyles of many Friends viewers. Ross's afro, Joey's Caesar cut, Chandler's slicked-back hair with a center parting, and Monica's braids were also some of the hairdos that did not do the characters justice.

Despite the criticism, the show's hairstyles were a reflection of the fashion trends seen in the 90s. While we might look back at them with a smile, it's unlikely that the styles will return to vogue anytime soon.
