Who is the prophet of Islam?
The prophet of Islam is Muhammad, born in Mecca, Saudi Arabia in 570 CE. He is considered to be the final prophet in a long line of prophets sent by Allah, the God in Islam, to guide and teach humanity. His teachings form the basis of the Islamic faith and are recorded in the holy book of Islam, the Quran.
Muhammad began receiving revelations from Allah at the age of 40 and spent the rest of his life spreading the message of Islam. He faced persecution from the powerful tribes of Mecca but eventually gained a following and migrated to Medina, where he established the first Islamic state. He died in 632 CE in Medina, and his death is considered a major event in Islamic history.
